As a church, our plot represents our core values—they are what we build our story on. We’ve developed 15 points that guide our actions and intentions, and they have proven themselves tried and true. These are the heartbeat of our church and some of the main influencers in all we do. Our story may go through many chapters, but we always strive to keep the plot consistent.
Real. Exciting. Serving. Powerful.
We exist to connect your story to God's story so God can take your story to new heights!
Here at StoryHeights, we love a good story. We believe they are what make us who we are. We believe they have the power to change lives and influence history. And we believe that they are best when shared. We’d love to share ours with you.
We pride ourselves on being a church done differently. We exist to show you that church can be enjoyed, not just endured, and that it has the power to change your life and the world. At the same time, we recognize the utmost importance of being rooted in biblical truth. As a church, we hold tightly to conservative theological tenants of faith.
Here at StoryHeights, you will often hear us reference “Vision 26.” We have a bold vision to encircle the city of Boston (its 23 neighborhoods + Cambridge, Brookline and Newton) with life-giving church communities. In the coming years, we will launch campuses north, south, east of Boston, and even Downtown so that everyone living in the Greater Boston Area can connect their story to God’s story.
Our Lead Pastors
Pastors Tyler and Crystal Tullos are the founders and lead pastors of StoryHeights Church. They’ve been married since 2003 and are originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Panhandle, Texas.
As graduates of Louisiana State University, they love all things LSU Tigers, SEC Football and good food. Both Tyler and Crystal were staff pastors at Healing Place Church for nearly a decade and were sent out to New England with the blessing of their pastors and the Association of Related Churches in 2010.
They have been ordained and licensed in the state of Massachusetts. In addition to pastoring the church, overseeing the staff, pastors and all boards, they are business owners and real estate agents, and diligently raise their three sons and one daughter.
They strive to love genuinely and set an example of following Christ as a real person, living a real life in the real world and keeping God first in all things.
