“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Ecuador
October 21st - 28th

We're thrilled to announce that in 2023 StoryHeights will begin a new partnership with our friends International Ministry of Jesus in Ecuador! Ecuador has been near to our hearts for many reasons and now we're excited to send a team to partner with IMOJ's incredible work through their Special Needs Ministry at The Meeting Place. These families have various degrees of disability and hardship and neither the government nor the surrounding communities provide much assistance. Over the years, IMOJ has built strong relationships with these families by demonstrating the love of Christ and helping them when nobody else would. Our missions team will partner with IMOJ to serve these families for a week, and bless them! The trip will take place Oct 21-28th, 2023. The cost per person is $2,200 and covers flights, lodging, transportation, translator, and all meals. If you are interested in going on this trip, please fill out the form below to get more information from our Missions Team.

Why go on a trip?

Perhaps you’re unsure why you would take time off work, dig into savings or raise funds in order to go on a missions trip when you could just save up your money and time off for your next vacation. Let us present three reasons that might compel you to apply:

You Have Been Commissioned

Going on a mission trip means that you will sacrifice your time, talents, and money to serve others and do so in the name of Jesus Christ. This is arguably one of the highest honors a believer can receive—to be the mouth, hands and feet of the Lord—to be his co-laborer in the Gospel. (Matthew 28:16-20)

The Nations Will Shape Your Perspective

God loves and cares about all nations. This is never more evident than when you step off the plane in another country and see the great need for the Gospel in the eyes of its people. God’s heart is one of compassion, and He sends out his missionaries to be his ambassadors of grace, mercy, and love to the entire world. (Revelation 5:9-10)

There’s a Blessing Waiting On You

The people you are going to visit are individuals who might need the gospel message. They might need some practical help, some encouragement, or some training to effectively care for their people. They could use some blessings from you. (Acts 20:35)

King of Kings in Jerusalem

King of Kings began as a Church in Jerusalem, ministering to Jewish people. Over time, it has grown into a community that is called to be a compelling, Messiah-centered, Spirit-empowered, disciple-making community that reveals the true face of Jesus to Israel and to the nations.  They operate a King of Kings network that plants more like-minded churches, creates business initiatives and establishes training centers.

Map 1040

MAP 1040 is an acronym for “Missions Affecting People in the 10/40 Window.”  The 10/40 Window refers to those regions of the eastern hemisphere located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, a general area that is purported to have the highest level of socioeconomic challenges and least access to the Christian message and Christian resources on the planet. Pioneered by missionary Luke Walters, Map 1040 works with the underground church, planting new churches in various nations within the 10/40 Window, as well as brings health aid to unreached people groups.
