Seek God's direction for your role in the vision, Ask, "God how can I invest in Your Kingdom through the God Loves Massachusetts campaign?" When we surrender to His will, He shows us the unique part we're meant to play.
How do you grow a great church? Since the beginning of StoryHeights Church, we’ve strived to answer that question by loving God, loving people, preaching Jesus saves, and creatively communicating His story of love and redemption. We are so grateful to God for the decade of growth, salvation and lives transformed through the power of Jesus! It’s been an incredible faith journey! But here’s the thing – we will not stop reaching the next one. It is our passion to share Christ with the generations to come and help them connect their story to God’s story so He can take their stories to new heights. This is the mission of StoryHeights Church. Today, we honor those who have generously given to pave the way for us. Now, it’s our turn. We invite you to join us in reaching the next one. The future of StoryHeights Church is brimming with life and potential, and the next story is always worth our precious offerings!

John and I were saved while living in Humble, Texas. When we moved back up north, we assumed finding a new church would be simple. But it wasn’t. Welcome to New England! We visited many churches—some we even joined—but none truly felt like “home.” We were longing for a place that was warm and welcoming, but more importantly, one that was firmly grounded in the Word of God and centered on Christ. Then came COVID. Like so many others, we found ourselves searching online for sermons and stumbled upon StoryHeights. We watched a few messages and felt something different—truth, honesty, and a genuine heart for people. We decided to visit in person. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew something was different. We were greeted with warmth and smiles that felt authentic. No pretenses. No performances. REAL people preaching, real people attending. Just people loving God and each other. We love that StoryHeights doesn’t shy away from truth. The teaching is strong and biblically sound, but also practical. It's a place where you are both comforted and challenged. Church should feel like family. A place where you can be real, grow spiritually, and walk alongside others. For us, StoryHeights has become exactly that. It’s a church we are proud to call home—and one we pray continues to help others find their way to Jesus just as we did.
On March 17, 2024, I took a life-changing step of faith—I was baptized in front of my church family, loved ones, and closest friends, publicly reaffirming my commitment to the Lord. Like many, I faced major setbacks during the COVID pandemic, and my faith wavered. But God had a plan. Maria, my girlfriend (now fiancée), saw the emptiness I was feeling and introduced me to StoryHeights Church. That invitation changed everything.
Through prayer, Bible study, and actively engaging in the church, I began to rebuild my faith. It wasn’t an instant transformation, but over time, my heart, attitude, and actions shifted. I started seeing God’s hand at work—in my relationships, my career, and my personal growth. Life is fragile, and the future is uncertain, but I now walk with confidence, knowing that He is always in control.
My story is one of transformation and redemption, a journey from addiction and sexual trauma to true freedom in Christ. Almost seven years ago, I overcame heroin and meth addiction, and today I live with purpose, fully rooted in my identity in Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. With the support through the Rewrite program and the generosity of StoryHeights Church, I’ve been able to truly rebuild my life and find true healing. Now, I’m a mom, a Montessori teacher, and I’m working on Reclaiming Truth Ministry, a project close to my heart, to help others struggling with trauma, addiction, and identity issues. My life is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace, and I hope to inspire others to walk in freedom and experience true and tangible transformation through Him.
When I think back on our first time visiting StoryHeights in 2019, I have this mental image of a beautiful oxymoron — the deeper we dig into our personal relationships with Christ, the higher our stories continue to climb.
Let me explain. Both my husband and I grew up in “the church” for the most part, but we were Christians by association, not personal relationship. At StoryHeights, we have been lovingly and Biblically challenged to grow in so many ways.
We have learned that Christianity is not just a one-size-fits-all family commitment. We have each been challenged to really dig in and seek to learn more about God.
The joy of witnessing our children raise their hands to accept Christ as their personal Savior and later, after careful prayer and seeking the Lord, decide to get water baptized are memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
We are humbled and excited by all the amazing things God has done and what is still to come, not just in our stories but the revival of the entire region! Exceedingly and abundantly more than we could have asked or imagined. He is good!
