Baptism is a public expression of an inward condition, stating that your new-found relationship with Jesus Christ has made you a new person. It’s your way to publicly declare that you are a follower of Jesus Christ as you follow His example of death, burial and resurrection. It is the next step after salvation through repentance and faith and is an important foundation for the Christian life.
Participating in a small group is the best way to grow your community, spiritual life and understanding of the Bible at StoryHeights. Through our small groups, you can connect with others as you grow in your relationship with Christ.
We are crazy about kids at StoryHeights. To us, kids ministry shouldn’t be babysitting where we just keep them quiet and out of the way. Instead, we believe the best and most critical time to connect a person’s story to God’s story is during childhood. We say SH Kids is where the story begins. We do everything we can to make the SH Kids’ weekend experience fun, exciting and engaging!
At StoryHeights, we’re out to write a story that will carry on for generations to come. Therefore, we place a high emphasis on the next generation. Whether in junior high or high school, we don’t wait on students to grow up to become the Church. We believe students are the Church, so students lead on the front lines of StoryHeights.
At StoryHeights, we believe God’s House is most powerful when both men and women are fully present, fully alive and fully awake. So as a church, we make a concerted effort to raise up godly men who take their rightful place and fulfill their God-given role as leaders in their homes, church, and communities.
Sisterhood isn’t just a women’s ministry. In fact, it’s a part of a grander story of a sisterhood that is emerging not only in our house but all across the world. It’s the story of God gathering his daughters to change the world.
