Why Slump When You Can Stand Tall

In this message, we're challenged to consider why we often 'slump' in life when we have the opportunity to stand tall. Through the story of Jesus healing a woman bent over for 18 years (Luke 13:10-17), we're reminded that our physical and spiritual conditions are deeply intertwined. Just as this woman was bound by Satan, we too can find ourselves tied up by various forms of spiritual bondage - from the media we consume to the relationships we maintain. The good news is that Jesus came to set us free, to 'untie' us from these bonds. We're encouraged to move towards Jesus, receive His touch, and stand tall in glorifying God. This message reminds us that no matter how long we've been 'bent over' by life's challenges, Jesus sees us and calls us forward into freedom and abundant life.
