Preparing Your Heart for Easter

By Debbie Lee   To be honest sometimes the holidays arrive catching me by surprise. Without the sense of anticipation and preparation they can come and go like any other day. I feel this way about Easter right now. Even though Easter falls on quite a late date this year,…

The Importance of Friendship

By Jocelyn Santos   A few nights ago I sat in a busy restaurant across from one of my dearest friends, Kiara. As girlfriends often do, we ate yummy unhealthy food and talked about all the things: recent vacations, post college revelations, future goals, life and of course past relationships.…

Not Only the Lonely

by Amanda Cox I’m an introvert. Time alone is essential for me to recharge physically and mentally. But I was not made to do life alone. My longing to be known by others tells me I was designed to be in relationship with others. Scripture confirms this. The Bible is…

Read the Bible Along With Us

Because we believe that the Bible is the living, breathing Word of God that can bring life to every area of our lives, we’re embarking on a new journey to read the Word of God together as a body of believers.  Join us on this 49-Week Challenge, and be apart of our corporate reading plan. There’s no better way to take your relationship with God to new heights than to dive into His Word.

This Bible Plan journeys through the entire Bible with both Old and New Testament readings every day. You’ll follow the New Testament chronologically alongside related chapters from the Old Testament to show the Bible as one story pointing to Jesus. Every seventh day is a pause to reflect and share what you’re learning. And the best part? It’s all available on The Bible App, accessible through all mobile application stores.

Two Ways to Join the Plan

Download ” The Bible App” app on the App Store (and in Google Play), search “49-Week Challenge” under the plans section. You can choose your start date (We’ll officially be starting as a church on January 6th, 2020), and whether or not you’d like to invite friends to join you.

The Bible App lets you highlight, make notes, and mark your completion levels so you can stay on track. Don’t forget to set reminders so you don’t fall behind!

Download “The Bible App” app on your mobile device, and join in with the StoryHeights Community by clicking this link. This link will take you directly to our StoryHeights Bible App Invitation. After you accept the invitation, you’ll be able to join the StoryHeights Community and chat and share with our church right from the app.

You should only use this method to read the plan if you do not want to join in on the community platform. By joining the community plan, you can set preferences for who can see your progress and notes, so don’t worry– you can share as much as you’d like!
