“As it goes with the men, so it goes with the church.” I first heard this quote on a podcast 9-ish years ago when planting StoryHeights church looked like nothing more than a budding dream in my heart.

I didn’t fully grasp the magnitude of the words when I first heard them, and only got a snippet of their magnitude when we started the church and I felt like the male pastor of a New England’s women ministry. 🙂 We began to pray that men would not only come to the church, but step up and step into the spaces they were so desperately needed. Wouldn’t you know it, slowly but surely they did.  That’s when I realized the full magnitude of the words, “As it goes with the men, so it goes with the church.”

There’s a strength and calm that only men can bring to the Kingdom of God. This Fall, as we gather for the 2019 Men’s Conference, we will come together to grow, strengthen and encourage each other as we continue to become those men that we’ve been called to be.

This conference will be a low-key, fun and life-giving weekend catered to you as a man. You will hear from a seasoned man/husband/father/pastor/leader/Patriots fan, Phil McCutchen, who will be sharing with us from his vast life experience and depth of understanding of Gods word. Your expectations should be high, and I hope you come ready to be changed.

And let me tell you now, there’s no excuse not to come. Make plans, change plans and make time to be there. You need it, we need you, and we will all be better because of this time spent together!

I will see you there.

Tyler Tullos

Lead Pastor

StoryHeights Church

Pastor Phil McCutchen is the lead pastor of Bethany Community Church, an influential and Jesus-centered church reaching Mendon and MetroWest Boston.

He’s an authentic leader and humble man whom Pastor Tyler has admired for many years.  You’ll love his fatherly influence and quiet strength.  He teaches with passion from the Bible and leads people with kindness and gentleness.

In recent years, Pastor Phil has been battling cancer; even still, he’s remained faithful in ministry and to the Lord.  His story speaks of resilience and faith that has been tested through the fire of affliction, yet He serves the Lord with unwavering hope and joy.

The fruit of his faith is seen in his love for his flourishing wife, Cheri, of 40+ years, his now adult children who serve the Lord in full-time ministry as well, and in the countless lives that follow Jesus with unashamed faith because of his faithfulness.

We are so honored to welcome him as our guest at the 2019 StoryHeights Men’s Conference! You won’t want to miss a moment.  His ministry will undoubtedly strengthen your faith and character.

Frequently Asked

What does the cost of the ticket cover?

We use the entire cost of your ticket to offset the operating costs of putting on the conference. There are costs associated with bringing in speakers, decorations, production operation, and of course what you love the most — food.

Do I have to go to StoryHeights to attend?

No! You do not have to be a member or regular attendee of StoryHeights Church to attend. In fact, we’d love for you to bring a friend with you. The more the merrier!

Can I bring my teenager?

YES! Middle School and High School students are welcome to come for a flat fee of $39.

Is Childcare provided?

Yes, although, it’s only made available for single fathers or those with extenuating circumstances. While we would love to provide childcare for all in attendance, minimizing the amount of childcare required helps us provide the lowest cost possible for all attendees.
